Console:
Picture 1: Simple drag the source and destination folders onto the FS console then press Synchronize in order to sync the two folders. To switch the task to a backup, go to the Option:Settings panel.

Picture 2: Using the pop-up menu "Sessions" (in the toolbar) you can create, duplicate, rename and delete a session. A session is a set of settings defining one or more pairs of folders to synchronize or backup, excluding items, timers, filters...
You can define several sessions and execute all of them simultaneously calling the menu item "All" and clicking on the main button "Execute All" on the console.

Picture 3: Click on the little arrow icon, at the left-bottom corner, and see the info about the file currently being processed by FS.
On the console view, you have to define the two folders you want to synchronize/backup.
When synchronizing we shouldn't speak about source and destination folder, because both the folders are one time source and one time destination storage. Anyway we call the folders this way just for convention.

• Define the souce folder:
Choose the 1st folder (or disk, or file, or alias) clicking on the top "folder icon" or dragging and dropping a folder (or disk or file or alias) from the Finder onto the top area of the console view. Also you can pick the 1st folder choosing the command "Pick 1st Folder" from the "Task" menu.
The pathname of the folder chosen will be shown on the gray top text field.

• Define the destination folder:
Choose the 2nd folder (or disk, or file, or alias) clicking on the bottom "folder icon" or dragging and dropping a folder (or disk or file or alias) from the Finder onto the bottom area of the console view. Also you can pick the 2nd folder choosing the command "Pick 2nd Folder" from the "Task" menu.
The pathname of the folder chosen will be shown on the gray bottom text field.

• Pathname text fields:
• Clicking on a pathname text field holding down the CONTROL key, tells the Finder to open that folder. To delete a pathname from the field, click on the field holding down the ALT key.

• Synchronize:
Now click on the button “Synchronize” or choose the same command from the “Task” menu and wait until the progress bar shows that the task has been completed. You can sto the process at any moment clicking on the same button. At the end of the task the console will report a short brief about the amount of files copied and errors. Also, the Log Window (Window:Log menu item) will display a more detailed report.

• PopUp Menu Sessions:
Using the popUp menu at the toolBar (see picture 2 beside), you can change the current Session. Each session defines a synchronization or a backup task between two or more folders, and defines all the options which will operate on that task. Thus, each session has its own source and destination folder, filters, multiple list, timers, settings (backup or sync), and so forth. Also you can create, duplicate, rename and remove sessions.
  • "All Sessions":
Once defined all the sessions you need (e.g. a backup from the folder A to the folder B, a sync from C to D, and exact sync from E to F) you can choose from this popUp menu the item "All", then clicking on the main button "Execute All" (previously "Synchronize", see picture), FS will execute, in one click only, all the sessions you defined. Last, if you defined some timers for some sessions, choosing "All", FS will execute all the timers, each one for its related session, each one at the time you specified in the Timer panel (see also the Scheduling Timer Window).

• Triangle Icon:
Click on the little arrow icon, at the left-bottom corner, and see the info about the file currently being processed by FS. The drawer reports info about the source and destination pathname and the file size (see picture 3 beside).
