| FoldersSynchronizer allows you to filter the files to copy when backing-up or synchronizing. You can filter the files to be copied/skipped by their FileName (is, is not, contains, doesn' contains, starts with, end with), by Type (e.g. "TEXT" files), by Creator (e.g."8BIM", thus all the Photoshop files), by Creation and Modification date, and Kind (is File, is Folder). Go to the "Filter" view choosing the "Filter" command from the "Option "menu, or clicking on the "F" icon on the console view. Filter On: mark the check-box "Filter on" in order to activate and edit the Filter List. Copy/Skip: mark the radio-button "Skip", if you want FS skips ONLY the files who match the filter list, and syncs/backs-up all the rest. Mark the radio-button "Copy ", if you want FS syncs/backs-up ONLY the files who match the filter list.
copy only items whose filename ends with ".rtf", FS will never scan the sub-folders, thus it will copy those rft files only from the main source folder. In order to let FS scan all the sub folders too, you have to define and add a new filter: Kind = "is Folder". This way FS will copy all the rtf files plus all the folders. Last touch, if you don't want FS copy the folders that don't contain any rtf file, you have to mark the check-box "Skip empty folders" in the Settings panel.
