| Maybe you want to exclude some sub-folders or some file from being copied when backing-up or synchronizing. To do that you have to define a simple list of folders/files to be excluded. Go to the Exclude view choosing the Exclude item from the Option menu, or clicking on the x icon on the console view. Exclude On: mark the check-box Exclude on in order to activate and edit the Exclude List. Define an item to exclude: for each row of the list you can click on the cell Folder/File and pick a folder or a file from the dialog window. Also you can drag and drop quickly files and folders from the Finder onto the cells of the list. Of course, if the folder excluded is not a sub-directory of a defined main source/destination folder (this makes no sense), FS will ignore that row. Hold down the ALT key and click to delete the content of the cell. Hold down the CONTROL key and click to tell the Finder ot open that folder. Hold down the COMMAND key and click to display the full path of the item of the cell. You can disable a row of the list clicking on the cell of the left column On. The disabled rows will be shown grayed-out. To enable a disabled row, click again on the cell On of the row. Apply If you click on the button Apply holding down the Option key, FS will apply the changes without coming back to the console. So you will be able to change (from the pop-up menu in the tool bar) and edit other Sessions in the same panel. The PDF User manual contains more detailed information. |
