As well as Safari or FireFox are browsers for html pages, SQLTouch is a browser for MySql remote databases.
SQLTouch lets you remotely browse any MySql database from your iPhone/iPad, everywhere you go!
SQLTouch is very easy to use. With a couple of taps you can remotely browse your records from your iPhone or iPad and manage contacts, orders, catalogs, news... through an easy and customisable end-user interface. SQLTouch lets you perform searches, reuse your custom searches, add/remove/edit records, retrieve and upload text, images and instant photos, watch pictures and movies... with a simple tap on the screen. Unlike other MySQL client applications, SQLTouch doesn't require any knowledge about SQL language programming. You will never need to write a single line of code. You just use the application and, if you like it, you can customise the layouts with fields and buttons.
SQLTouch lets you share your remote database with other people as clients, colleagues and friends. You can share your database to everyone (public) or only to the people you want (private).
For your clients
With SqlTouch you can share your db with your clients. For example, you can let your clients perform searches within your catalog of products, browse the records, read the specifications, watch images and movies and buy your products and services. You can let them retrieve a phone number and call it, find a restaurant and reserve it or see the map, find and watch the latest news...
For your employees
With SqlTouch you can share your db with your employees and colleagues and let them search for e.g. a client's record or for a product information, check for the week's sales, add an order to the database... from everywhere they are. This means that they don't longer need to transfer the data from the paper to the db once arrived at the office. They write it down on site, on their iPhone. And instantaneously all the colleagues can get it!
For your friends
With SqlTouch you can share your db with your friends and school buddies. For example, you can let your friends share the same database and create a kind of private social network (e.g. school, college, clubs). You can upload photos, leave instant messages and read the latest messages with a simple tap.
Make money with SQLTouch
Last but not least, you can let anyone browse your e.g. "Software" or "Hotel" or "Restaurants" public directory database for free and display your own banners (tap-and-go) as well as you do now on your web site. The difference here is that your clients can do that even with an Edge connection. On the iPhone.
Wherever is a remote database, SQLTouch will bring it to your iPhone by your fingertips.
SQLTouch doesn't provide any remote MySQL database with the app, but just a few samples about what can be done with the app. SQLTouch runs on both iPhone and iPad with OS 2.2.1 or higher. It requires a connection to the internet.
